Dear Beard Friends,
While the excitement of the Beard and Moustaches OLYPICCONTEST in Leogang / Austria which we warmly thank HANS GASSNER and his beard friends, is still fresh in our minds, we would like to take this opportunity to include all of you in the next highlight of the international beard movement.
We, the First Berlin Beard Club (founded 1996)
hereby
invite all beard friends to the World Beard and Moustache Championships to be
held on October 1, 2005, in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
The planning for this event is already well under way. We are holding nothing back in an effort to offer all participants and guests an unforgettable experience. We want each of you to participate. Berlin is always worth a trip, but especially so for the World Beard and Moustache Championships. We are also hoping to set a new participant record, which would be a big thrill for us.
To help you make your plans for the championships, we can now offer the following information:

Competition Schedule :
2:00 p.m. Gala Opening
2:30 p.m. Moustache Competition
4:00 p.m. Partial Beard Competition
5:30 p.m. Full Beard Competition
8:30 p.m. Award presentation during evening live-music program.
Numerous HOTELS are located in the immediate vicinity of the competition venue.

Getting there :
By water, air or land, the competition venue is easy to reach.
Enclosed is information about transportation from all airports, railway stations and autobahns in greater Berlin. In addition, we will provide individual shuttles upon request

An entry fee of 30 Euros is payable on the day of the competition.
A reduced entry fee of 25 Euros is available to those who pay by May 31, 2005, by transfer to club's account set forth below.
